Thanks to Robin at
Pensieve, we bloggers have a chance to network from the comfort of our home and make new blogging friends. Fun!
So, about me and my blog...my name is Tami and I am a stay-at-home mom to 2 awesome kids: Csaba (6), and Emersen (2). My husband, Tom, owns his own home inspection business and we will celebrate our 5th anniversary this November.
Let me bullet-point the stuff I like to talk about on my blog:
:: Adoption - we adopted our son from Hungary in Nov. '07 (which clarifies the fact that I have a 6yo son and have been married for 5 years, ahem). I am passionate about orphans world-wide getting forever families!
:: Photography - I love taking pictures even though I am a complete amateur! I also fiddle and play around in photoshop to give face-lifts to my blog and photos.
:: Cake Decorating - This is also a newly acquired skill that I am honing. You can see my first fondant-covered creation
here...but don't look too closely! :)
:: My Kids - self-explanatory, but we do have interesting days around here!
:: Christianity - I am a Christian who seeks to serve God with everything I have. Sometimes I get on my soapbox about current events or just like to ruminate on goings-on, but it's usually tame and more for encouragement/insight.
That's it in a nutshell. Thanks for reading and drop by anytime (and when you do so, please let me know by leaving a comment so I can visit your blog too)!
Happy blogging! :o)
I've hopped by to say hi! I also do cake decorating. It's fun, isn't it? I love being able to customize cakes for my children and friends. :-) You can see some of my cake creations at http://anniescraftcave.wordpress.com

Orphans finding forever families is near and dear to my heart as well! I have 2 sweet nieces from the Ukraine.
